(Written for a young women's award program) Right from her birth she brought to this earth A spirit all her own, With an Inner Light, unique and bright, That's focused as she's grown. 'Til now, at last, a shadow is cast Of the woman she will be; The pattern is set by this silhouette, Her form is plain to see. She's standing tall; she's heard her call, She serves as she's prepared; She's prayed and learned and worked and earned Each virtue to be shared. We've taken this day in an effort to say We are proud of all she's become; But the greatest reward will be when the Lord Can say to His daughter, ""Well done.""
