I MADE THE HEAVENLY CHOIR

I dreamed I died and went to God Who looked upon my slate, And saw what good and bad I’d done And then announced my fate. Now, me, I thought my goose was cooked, I figured on the fire; Imagine how surprised I was, He said, ""You’ve made the choir!"" Though quite relieved, I worried some, I knew how bad I sang; Though try I might to hit some notes, I wasn’t worth a dang. But, what the heck, how pleased I was To fare the judgment well, Until I came to my domain… ""Choir Director’s Hell.""
