OH LITTLE BOY

Cattails waving by the river shack; Freight cars banging on the railroad track. Minnow nets out of burlap sack; Oh, little boy, don't change. I've grown up working and going to school, Saving up money for a heated pool; But a life like yours is the sought for jewel; Oh, little boy, don't change. It was long ago, but still it's true, I once was a boy like you; And someday you will be here too, Saying ""Oh, little boy, don't change.""
